About the Artist
Joseph Anthony Peterson
I am an acrylic and oil painter specializing in California landscapes, capturing the beauty of the coastline through both small, intimate pieces and large-scale works. My art is inspired by the everychanging colors, light and atmosphere of the Pacific Coast.
My collection includes a series of miniature original ocean scenes called "Portals", designed to feel like windows into another world. Each piece invites viewers to experience a sense of depth, movement and connection with nature.
In addition to canvas painting, I also create unique surfboard wall art and handcrafted holiday ornaments. Every pieces reflects my deep passion for the ocean and nature, bringing a sense of coastal beauty into everyday spaces.
